Build-a-Thon
More than 500 Habitat for Humanity AmeriCorps National Direct and VISTA members from across the country will come together this week to kickoff the annual Habitat for Humanity AmeriCorps Build-a-Thon.
As part of the annual event, more than 20 homes will be built, rehabilitated or repaired in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, June 11-18,
2010. Participants will repair homes through Habitat for Humanity’s A Brush with Kindness program.

Home Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity and the Kurt Warner First Things First Foundation are inviting new Habitat pledge partners to a special Home Team build site picnic hosted by Kurt and Brenda on Friday, June 25, 2010 at noon. To demonstrate their commitment to joining in Habitat’s work in 2011, Kurt Warner’s First Things First Home Team Challenge participants will pledge to support at least one Habitat construction day next year.
