Habitat for Humanity works with community groups and volunteers to build
simple, decent and affordable homes. We rely on donations of labor, building
materials and land to help keep the cost of the houses down. Habitat selects
homeowners based on their need for adequate housing, their ability to repay
a zero-interest, zero-profit loan and their willingness to partner by helping to
build their home and the homes of others in the program.

Valley and creating invaluable team-building opportunities
within your organization. Included in your financial support are
volunteer build days, recognition on the build site and a strong

Brush with
Kindness
A Brush with Kindness is a program of Cedar
Valley Habitat for Humanity that helps
low-income homeowners by offering exterior
home improvements.
Volunteer teams work to improve the condition
of homes by painting, landscaping and
performing minor exterior repairs at minimal
costs to homeowners who would be unable to
complete home repairs on their own.
