Gazette Gives Back

Subscribers to The Gazette hold the power to give local nonprofits free advertising dollars; Habitat for Humanity is one of them. 

Four years ago, The Gazette in Cedar Rapids started a program called The Gazette Gives Back. This program enables subscribers an opportunity to cast their vote for a local nonprofit in the running for these advertising dollars. This isn’t a contest, per se, but the more votes that are cast for Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity, the more advertising dollars we have access to in 2018 to spread the importance and critical work of Habitat for Humanity.  Active subscribers of The Gazette will receive their voter ID in a postcard and in an email in early to mid-November. 5, 6, and 7 day subscribers will receive $50 while weekend and Sunday only will receive $25. Subscribers will be instructed to go online and use their ID to login.
