Who we are

In the midst of a worldwide housing crisis, Habitat for Humanity is a beacon of hope. Habitat is an ecumenical Christian housing ministry building simple, decent, and affordable homes in partnership with qualified area families. Zero-interest, no-profit mortgages and volunteer assistance at every level keep house prices low. Since breaking ground in 1988, Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity has worked with thousands of volunteers, partner families, and organizations to build or rehabilitate more than 140 homes in Linn and Benton Counties. CVHFH is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International and operates locally as an independent 501 (c)(3).
