About Cedar Valley ReStore
The Cedar Valley Habitat ReStore sells new and gently used building materials, furniture and home goods — proceeds fund affordable housing.
The ReStore concept started in 1991 as Habitat affiliates began to receive donations of building materials and household goods. Instead of redesigning blueprints to fit donated items, affiliates began selling them to the public and using proceeds to cover homebuilding costs. Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1988; our ReStore opened in October 2005.
