Cedar Valley Habitat’s homebuilding and home repair ministry is powered by the generous contributions of dozens of corporate, faith-based and community groups. Along with their financial support, these sponsors often supply hundreds of volunteer hours annually, both on the build site and beyond. All are invited to join in this dynamic, life-changing work!
Building hope in our community means helping to provide affordable homeownership for your neighbors in Linn and Benton counties and creating invaluable team-building opportunities within your organization. Included in your financial support are volunteer build days, recognition on the build site and a strong investment in your community. With your vital support, we can build teams, homes and HOPE!

“My first Habitat for Humanity volunteer experience was working on the home build for the Beloved Community home in September 2018. I was nervous since I don’t have a lot of building experience and wasn’t really sure what to expect. I knew it was going to be a great experience from the start as the onsite staff were so kind and welcoming and then kicked off the day with a prayer. The “professional” volunteers were patient and did a great job of teaching and then letting us do the work. I feel like I learned a lot and connected with other employees of Transamerica that I might not otherwise work with. The most rewarding experience was working with the homeowner that day and then attending the home dedication ceremony a month later where he and his family received the keys. I will definitely be back to volunteer again!” – Jennifer Hawks Corporate Development, Transamerica
“Most of all, I found great personal reward in getting to know this family and the fact that I was able to give back to my community. And I believe that getting to know each other outside of work helps us to enrich our work environment”. – Joel Miller Manager, Schneider Electric
