What is a ReStore?
A ReStore is a retail facility that recycles
overstocked, discontinued, new and used building
materials donated by manufacturers, businesses,
contractors and individuals. These materials are then
incorporated in the construction of Habitat homes or are
sold to the general public at a discounted rate.
What happens to ReStore profits?
All income generated from the operation cycle
back into Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity to
support local and international building
efforts. The ReStore will be an ongoing source
of income for the affiliate.
How will the ReStore benefit my community?
The ReStore benefits many people in many
different ways. The ReStore will offer new and
used home improvement products to the public. It
will be a great low-cost resource for
contractors, landlords and do-it-yourselfers who
can then improve the condition of area
residences. The ReStore will have a positive
environmental impact as well. All of the
materials sold by the ReStore will be diverted
from our local landfill.
- The Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity ReStore
needs your donations.........of nearly any item that
can be used to build a home.
- Almost any building or remodeling material
that's in good shape can be recycled through the
ReStore, saving you dumping costs and perhaps
earning you a tax deduction as well.
- Your donation to the CVHH ReStore will support
housing needs in your community.
